About THANDEKA

Thandeka is a 37-metre sailing yacht from Ed Dubois, launched in 1999 and undergoing a refit in 2026. Her aluminium hull and thoughtful layout create space that feels generous under sail and at anchor alike, with panoramic sightlines from the raised deck saloon. The yacht is set up for comfortable bluewater crossings and extended cruising, with Starlink and WiFi connectivity throughout.

Up to 8 guests sleep in 4 cabins, each with its own bathroom. The full-beam master aft has a king-size bed, twin sinks, and a large bath and shower; a VIP with walkaround double occupies midships. There is a flexible cabin suited to children or as a workspace, and a salon with room for everyone to spread out — two seating areas below, and a raised dinette with views all around.

Cruising is worldwide, supported by a Novurania tender and a waverunner for exploring farther afield. Days settle into an easy rhythm: swimming, diving from the platform, evenings at anchor with films in the lower saloon or music on the outdoor sound system, and the sense of being at home wherever the wind leads.
